National Geographic is one of my favourite websites. It full of useful information and well presented. I visit the site once every week and urge my 9 year old to do so more often. Recently I came across another initiative from them MyWonderfulWorld. Staying true to their tradition this too is very informative and more importantly highly interactive. For eg: there is an interactive map tracking the expected impact of climate change.
Nat Geo has also been listed in the top 25 sites not to be missed, by TIME magazine.
